Why I Ride?:
I raced from my teens to my early 20's and then stopped riding. 3 years ago in my early 40's, twenty years later I started riding again. I started mainly to lose weight and that first summer lost fifty pounds. I became more interested in getting back into cycling over that first year and when the second season came around I was ready to try some longer rides. On a century ride early in the season I met a riding group from my area. That year I started back with group riding. Now I ride for fun, exercise and to be social. I average about 4,000 miles per year.
My Cycling Achievements:
Raced mainly in Colorado and the western states in the mid to late 80's. Reached Cat 2 status and had the pleasure of training with Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. These days I would categorize my biggest achievements are big century+ bike tours. This year I did my personal "Grand Tour Series" with TOSRV, RAIN and CFC!
